If you are inclined as I am to drive a classic vehicle around the country, you start everyday with a little prayer that when the inevitable breakdown occurs, there will be a trusty mechanic just down the road, good mechanics being so hard to find. So when at 5am, trumbling down county road in my 1987 Mitsubishi Delica Starwagon camping van, my transmission failed completely, I was sure glad I awoke two miles from Jerry's Transmission. You can imagine my joy when service manager Matt took a look and considered it just another manual transmission, when I can hardly get anyone to look at this Japanese right hand drive import in my home city, on the west coast, no less.. From start to end, Matt and staff were courteous and helpful. Meticulous and patiently Jerry's team dissected my transmission and ordered parts from Japan while I was going on about my life miles away. They were always trustworthy, honest, and respectful of my vehicle keeping it secure in their storage yard and made sure it set to get back on the long road.
